Integrity is about doing the right thing. It is something everyone can do, but not everyone chooses to do it. I am going to explain how integrity can be seen in characters of the bible. The characters I will explore are Esther and Daniel
Esther Shows Integrity
Esther was secretly Jewish she was adopted by Mordecai, Queen Vashti got deposed and Esther became Queen because of her looks and the king didn’t know she was Jewish because she had to hide her identity or else she would be killed. Esther was given twelve months of beauty treatment she shows integrity by saving her people from being killed and risked her life by walking into the king’s hallway and was hoping that he would hold out his gold sceptre and he was glad to see Esther so he held out the gold sceptre for Esther to come in.
Daniel shows integrity
Daniel shows integrity by praising God even though he knew that he would be thrown into the lion's den because of the law. The law was made by the two presidents and the princes they made the law to trick the king into putting Daniel into the lion's den because they were jealous of his wisdom and because everyone loved him. Daniel only praises God, not the God they praised.
In summary, both of these characters from the bible ended up doing the right thing Esther risked her life for her people and Daniel never gave up on his God
